FAQ
AI Tools: common questions
- Which AI tool should I start with?
- Start with one assistant for text and one for images, and give each a job you already do weekly — drafting emails, summarising documents, making thumbnails. A tool with a defined job survives past week two; a tool you signed up for out of curiosity rarely does.
- Are free AI tools good enough?
- For occasional work, usually yes. Free tiers typically limit message volume, model quality and export options rather than core capability, which is fine until AI becomes part of your daily workflow.
- How do you evaluate AI tools?
- We look at output quality on realistic tasks, how quickly a new user reaches a useful result, pricing at the tier most readers would actually buy, export and privacy controls, and whether the tool still earns its place after a few weeks of use.
